October Nails

Never been one for a red nail, but I fell in love with this colour after my husband put in a request for me to have red nails!

Little bit of gold tape really finished them off!

Next I went for this gorgeous maroon, such a lovely autumn colour with a different accent nail.

So happy with this set, I've already had loads of compliments and I've only had them a week! Still so shiney and pretty :)

September Nails

This month I used a new nail technician and won't be changing again! Finally found someone I enjoy going to who did my nails exactly how I like them, hooray!

My nails were feeling a bit sad and a few had broken quite short, but I love how they look now!

I chose 'Bubbilicious' for all but my ring finger, opting for 'Princess Pink' glitter dust as an accent nail. This is such a perfect pink! I've had so many comments in the week I've had it on my nails.

If you're in the Solihull area I definitely recommend Belle's tips and toes, search belles_tips_toes on Instagram, or Facebook! Thanks Belle!

Grow your own nails...

After my c section in January and a long week on awful dry air hospital wards, my nails were seriously worse for wear. Brittle, flaking, sometimes snapping clean off.

I dug out my bottle of Rimmel Stronger, and boy was I glad to see it. I started using this product about 2 years ago and haven't looked back since!

On the bottle it says 'Try harder. Double duty base coat: strengthens and protects. 1. Enriched with calcium and keratin 2. Increases the shield against damage.'

I use this every time I paint my nails and it helps to prolong the nail colour, but that isn't the main rave for this product. Oh no! Since using it my nails are strong, long and healthy. Happy nails!

If they're suffering really bad (like in January) I use this alone. A new coat each day over the top of the previous days coat. Like a little hair mask for nails. I think they adore it as much as me!

So if your nails are sad and breaking, I highly recommend this! It is currently helping me grow my wedding day nails :)

Ta rah! xx

Shellac

I love a good manicure, so 2 weeks ago I got Shellac'd!

Gorgeous, yes?! I can't remember what the colour was, I will find out when I have them redone.

2 weeks on, this is how they've lasted...

No chips, perfect finish, just with lots of regrowth!

Thumbs up from me! Xx
